Emmie has returned to Los Angeles after 3 years in South East Asia. She holds a mysterious letter from, Ricky, a companion of her recently deceased, drug addicted, mother. The letter contains a single clue to a package that her mother has left for her.
Tracking Ricky is easier said than done, and Emmie goes on an intense search with, only, the name of a dingy motel that her mother had called home. The search magnifies when Emmies sister, Eve, shows up. The sisters had parted on bad terms because of differences in dealing with their mothers addiction. Eve stayed home to take care of her mother, while Emmie had taken off to travel and live her own life.
United in their effort to find their mothers package, they become involved in a world of drugs and dangerous low-lives. As old wounds are exposed, will they ever be able to find the package and re-discover their lost connection...
